Keeping the heart awake

Dear friends and acquaintances of Kontemplation

The summer holidays are letting go of their grip, and we are entering the rhythm of autumn.
For many, it is a time to regain our footing – to notice what we want to take with us and what we want to leave behind.

The third group of the supervision course will start in a few weeks. Internal practice and working life.
We had initially planned it as a simple course, but have since seen how many people are currently seeking to connect immersion, presence and humanity with their way of living and working – whether it is about creativity, creating, teaching, working with people or finding a new direction in everyday life. And now the third group begins.

During the summer, we have, as always, posted a new blog post every Friday.
One of them was Steen Hildebrandt's New leadership – a kind but clear call to stay awake in a time that can easily pull us toward discouragement.
Soon you can also hear his lecture from the spring, held at Internal practice and working life, Team 2 – another friendly but insistent point out that our times call for presence, compassion and responsible action.

In the practice library you will now find a new walking meditation: Peace of mind – step by step, which trains the ability to move out into the world with open senses - and at the same time maintain contact inwardly.
We hope that this guidance, together with the other exercises in the practice library, can be a quiet support to maintain inner contact, keep balance and find a foothold - so that we do not burn out.

The fall also offers several courses that we are looking forward to:

· Britta Karlshøj starts an online course this week about Dreams, therapy and meditation.

· As a new feature, Kirsten Rotbøll Lassen teaches in Meditation, image work, creativity and movement over three Saturdays in Copenhagen.

· And Martin Guldberg continues the online course In Bob Moore's footsteps, where at each class we find new layers in the Irish teacher's energy work.
As a reminder that all inner practice is perhaps about stepping into life – not away from it.

Suzanne Brøgger writes somewhere:

“You can't protect yourself from life.
You can only live it.”

We look forward to meeting – online or in person – and to continuing the conversation, exploration, and community of practice.

Warm regards
Hanneli and the Kontemplation team
