Teamet på Landro

Dear friends and acquaintances of Kontemplation

We are writing to you from Landro, where we are gathered for our annual team retreat and preparing for January Practice, with which we will begin 2026.
It is a journey we are very much looking forward to sharing with you.
We find it deeply meaningful to begin the year with you – with a rhythm of practice, presence, and a joint attempt to bring a little more kindness into the world.

We'll tell you more about this year's January Practice when we get into December. But until then, we'd just like to say:

January practice will return this winter – and everyone is welcome.

An updated navigation to the Practice Library
As some of you may have already noticed, we have updated the Practice Library. There are now over 200 exercises, so a new structure has been long overdue – and now it is here. We hope it will make it easier to find the meditations and guidance you need.

A little further down on the Practice Library's opening page you will find a section called “31 days of meditative journeys” – this is where the previous January practice courses are collected. For those of you who want support to follow a longer structured course, independent of the season and calendar.

Two events we would like to share with you:

  • The turn of the year · a kuntemplated approach
Three days of joint, online practice between Christmas and New Year:
December 30 and 31 and January 1, every day from 12:00 to 14:30.
Here will Jeanette Lykkegaard and Martin Guldberg sit at the helm and guide into practice, rhythms and reflections as the year changes.

  • Fall in · fall down · fall in
Workshop with Jeppe Hein, Peter Høeg and Hanneli Ågotsdatter

On February 1, 2026, we will open the doors to the workshop "Fall in · fall down · fall in" - a day of practice, body and creativity, in collaboration with the artist Jeppe Hein.
The day will be held at Teater Gruppe 38, at Aarhus Harbour. We would be happy to see you there.

We send you warm Sunday greetings from Landro and look forward to continuing into the winter with you.

Warm regards
Kontemplation's team

Kontemplation is primarily run by volunteers – a community of friends and practitioners from different professional backgrounds who share a common concern for communicating the importance of inner presence practices and social engagement.

The team handles Kontemplation's daily operations. This includes teaching, administration, blog editing, social media, audio production, and contact with the student body and the wider community.
