Dear Kontemplation newsletter recipient.
It is with joy, but also with a little anxiety, that I write to you. Right now, not only in Denmark, but also internationally, there is more conflict than usual.
I therefore hope that this letter finds you healthy and in good spirits.
For me, when things in the external world are faltering, it feels particularly important to maintain and strengthen contact with inner resources. Not in a state of aversion, but in order to be able to meet others and the external world from a stronger and more confident place.
Therefore, in response to the pressure from the corona infection, we at Kontemplation have decided to make our practice library free of charge. As a first step, we have made Martin Guldberg's Yoga for the spine and lower back out for free download. Over the next few months we will also release the rest of the audio files and videos that were otherwise for sale.
As part of this, we can mention the result of a creative dare: Six months ago, Peter and I were invited out to play by the composer and musician Torben Westergaard.
It has become an album, Breakup and surrender, with Torben on bass and us on, yes, guided meditations, which are now posted on Spotify and can also be heard on Kontemplations practice library.
For us, it was a bit of a tightrope walk in a ring we had never performed in before.
But also exciting to experience: Creative, improvised play and meditation are sisters. Play has an outside, an expression. And it has an inside, the experience of the inner space from which renewal comes.
If you are a playful child and at the same time have a meditative interest, you can listen in both directions at the same time. And perhaps experience creative contemplation.
I – and the entire Kontemplation team – wish you beautiful June days.
Warm regards
Hanneli Ågotsdatter
