IPA RETREAT ON THE EASTERN LOOP

July 7 – 13, 2025

Silence and meditation by the North Sea

with Hanneli Ågotsdatter and Peter Høeg

A retreat for participants in the supervision course 'Inner practice and working life'‘

This retreat is reserved for participants in the three supervision courses. Internal practice and working life 1, 2 and 3.

Retreat means 'withdrawal'. In the sense: To go inward in order to go outward with more presence, intensity, joy and compassion.
To use the resources that can come to light when you temporarily separate yourself from an often hectic everyday life, and open yourself to nature and with your fellow practitioners form a more dense field. These six days will have the form that the participants know from Inner Practice and Working Life and from other Kontemplation training courses:
The mornings will most often be quiet and introspective. They focus on individual, meditative immersion, often take place in silence and include yoga, body scans, meditations and writing practices.

The afternoons are often more dynamic and include dance, contact exercises and continue the IPA courses' focus on bringing the meditative qualities into the participants' relationships and impacting the world.

There will be a long continuous stretch over several days during the retreat where the participants are in silence.
On this retreat, we will work together with the unique nature around Øster Løkke – if we were to put it in a slogan-like way: We will let the outer and inner nature resonate together.

We do not have a specific discount scheme on retreats. Instead, we strive to keep the price of accommodation in a tent and double room so low that this becomes a more economical alternative.

COURSE LOCATION

The Øster Løkke course farm is located directly on the North Sea, and the nature surrounding the beautiful farm is magnificent. When the weather permits, we hold part of the retreat's mindfulness training outdoors.
