HEART LIMITS

Guided meditation with

audio file · 22 minutes

Your daughter says, 'Oh, can't we go to the swimming pool?'‘
Or:
You have been asked to look after the grandchildren over the weekend.
Or:
Your sister's daughter is going to be a student and is turning 18. You would like to give her an amount of money to support her interrail trip this summer. How much should that amount be?

This meditation is about choice situations we all know.
And among the most difficult: The choices we have to make when it comes to finding or setting boundaries for those we love.
Where on the one hand we would like to volunteer without limits. To give everything we have in us.
But how much do we have in us?
Finding that out is, Peter says in this meditation, crucial.
Because we can only help others from our surplus.

Here we are led towards what is called 'an inner consultation with heart feelings and body as participants'. An inner conversation that can open up to our own natural ability to balance much-needed self-care with our urge to say yes – our desire to meet the world.
