WHOLE

– through meditation, body awareness, contact with nature and working with dreams at the beach farm Øster Løkke with Jeanette Lykkegård and Britta Karlshøj.
These retreat days by the North Sea are an invitation to those of you who wish to explore the possibilities that a temporary withdrawal from everyday life holds for a deeper practice of presence – as a path to contact with ourselves and to wholeness in our lives.
During these five days, we will give ample space to meditative practice – with the support of the unique nature around Øster Løkke. And we will deal with dreams – with those you (possibly) have during the retreat – but also with space for any previous dreams that may continue to insist even long after you have dreamed them.
The mornings will include guided sitting meditations, body scans, gentle yoga and other movements. We will also explore the possibilities of meditative walks in nature around Øster Løkke, in the dunes and on the beach. Where outer nature – including the vastness of the West Coast and the sea and special light – can awaken, stimulate and support awareness of inner nature.
Among other things, we will use the afternoons – in a contemplative and empathetic atmosphere – to examine dreams and their messages. With support from the teachers and through joint exchanges about the individual's dreams. We will also explore the offers, resources and opportunities for meditative immersion that naturally exist in dream life through various meditative and creative activities.
Here too, we will – as far as weather permits – include the landscape around us.
We will supplement the Western understanding of dreams, such as those found in Jung, Ole Vedfelt, Jes Bertelsen and Bob Moore, with the deep and special approach that can be found in some places in high shamanism.
The course is open to everyone. It is not necessary to have experience with meditation and dream work to participate.
We will ask those whom we have not previously met to write a few lines when registering about any experiences with mindfulness practices such as meditation, yoga or similar.
