Online course: DREAMS AND MEDITATION with Britta Karlshøj and Jeanette Lykkegård, guest lecturer Peter Høeg

Kontemplation invites you to an intensive course on dreams and meditation over four online teaching evenings.
Giving space to our dreams can be a valuable support for our meditative process. And a possible way to get to know ourselves better and thus be able to maneuver a little more precisely and carefully in our lives.
And dreams are an inherently fascinating and often entertaining aspect of our natural creativity.
Meditative processes often intensify dreams, which can provide information that can support inner reflection.
Peter Høeg is a guest lecturer at the second and fourth sessions.
Each evening will have the following structure:
· Presentation of the evening's theme
· A shared meditation and a short movement/yoga sequence
· Different creative approaches to the dream job
· The participants are divided into groups of three, where each participant, supported by the dialogue, works with a dream from the past week.
· Opportunity for dream exchange in the common room and exchange with the teachers
· Inspiration to continue working on your dreams
· Joint closing meditation
Between each session:
The idea is that the course should inspire participants to keep a journal throughout the course in which they write down their dreams.
Each time we will suggest one or more ways to work with the dreams leading up to the next session. For example, these could be:
· Different ways to include dreams in your meditations.
· Different approaches to investigating your dreams.
· Different ways you can incorporate nighttime dreams into your waking life.
During the course we will, among other things, touch on:
· Basic understanding of dreams, inspired in particular by Jung, Bob Moore, Jes Bertelsen and by the experience and inspiration that emanates from Vækstcenteret.
· The ways in which meditative developmental processes are reflected in, and can be supported by, dreams.
· Different ways of working with dreams, physically, meditatively, analytically and creatively.
We will ask applicants we have not previously met to send a few lines about their experiences with meditation, yoga, and the like.
