KONTEMPLATION is a community-based laboratory and communication platform for the teachings and practice of mindfulness, compassion and presence yoga. We offer contemplative training programs in clear, non-dogmatic and accessible ways.

Our programs and community activities include weeklong silent retreats, introductory meditation and yoga retreats, eight week programs in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), meditation sessions and yoga classes, supervision in groups or individual, in person and online.

Kontemplation is based in Denmark. Our retreats are primarily set on the wild shore of the North Sea, in the beautiful retreat center Øster Løkke. Our MBSR-programs are based in the city of Aarhus and our weekend programs take place in the meditation community Vækstcenteret in Nørre Snede. In addition to our domestic activities, our team of teachers travels and teaches internationally. See below for photos from retreats and events.
