We could \u2013 with a little smile \u2013 say that what Liv Dhanyo Thommesen invites us to do here is a little piece of spiritual genealogy.<\/p>\n

Where in general genealogy it is names and years that matter, here it is the archetypal experience that behind us stand rows of men and women who have lived and loved and passed on life from generation to generation to us, to whom we are invited.<\/p>\n

When we turn and look back on our history in this way, we have the opportunity to avoid being trapped by the traumas and dark threads that run through almost all family stories. Instead, we can perhaps open ourselves to gratitude for the very gift of life we have received from previous generations.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We are alive. We are alive right now!
\nAnd we can practice.<\/p>\n

This guidance invites us to practice when it points out how we all have both past femininity and masculinity within us. Not only as history, but as part of our body, emotional system and consciousness right now.
\nParts that can unfold like a dance between the wide awake expanse of consciousness and the support and clarity of focused attention. Through which our feminine and masculine sides can come closer to each other.<\/p>\n
